When I founded Desert Valley Abatement, LLC, it wasn’t just about starting a construction or demolition business—it was personal. Having spent over 20 years in the Arizona construction industry, I repeatedly saw property owners get completely blindsided by structural hazards like asbestos and toxic mold. Worse, I watched families and business owners panic, facing thousands of dollars in unexpected remediation costs while navigating confusing corporate jargon from contractors who treated them like a invoice number.

I knew there was a better, more human way to do this. I started this company right here in Gilbert with a straightforward mission: to provide the highest level of certified, technical environmental safety while treating our clients with the absolute honesty and respect they deserve.

My name is Josh Alvarado, and I've been working in the construction, insurance restoration, environmental remediation, and demolition industries since 2011.
Over the years, I've learned that when people call us, they're usually dealing with a stressful situation they've never faced before. Whether it's asbestos, mold, demolition, water damage, or another environmental concern, it can feel overwhelming and difficult to know where to start.
 
What I enjoy most is helping clients understand the process and making a complicated situation feel manageable. I believe in being honest, communicating clearly, and treating every project as if it were my own property. My goal is to make sure our clients feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way.
